Space is led by two individuals who have both, over the past 25 years or so, created large successful property, investment and development solutions in markets around the world working with both the public and private sector.

 

We directly own and manage over 6m square feet of Government Infrastructure and private commercial and residential premises.

 

The Principals have funded, either directly or indirectly, in excess of £25bn of investment in projects, a substantial proportion of which has been equity and/or subordinated debt.

 

The two principals are Mike Dwan and Tim Edghill.

> tim edghill – principal

Tim has over 25 years of experience and is a specialist in the operational and social infrastructure real estate sectors.  

 

He has worked on and funded over £5 billion of healthcare projects, £6 billion of education and student accommodation projects and thousands of units in the residential markets.

 

He has worked extensively in partnership with the Government, listed companies, institutions, private equity investors, as well as Developers and Operators. 

 

For the majority of his career Tim, has worked with leading global investors and been responsible for the funding, structuring, creation and sale of complex investments and ventures.

> mike dwan – principal

Mike has been an investor/developer for over 25 years. He founded the Equity Solutions Group of companies in 2002 and is a recognised market leader in the development of education and community health assets. Mike is a highly respected commentator in the health sector, and a trusted adviser to senior sector stakeholders in the Government and Regulators.

> ken jones – construction director

Ken is a Chartered Building Engineer with substantial construction and project management experience encompassing high-profile health, retail and residential projects, including hospitals, high rise luxury apartments, student accommodation, mixed use and supermarket developments.

His experience covers all facets of construction and project management from developing project requirements to design management, project delivery, property acquisition, appraisal and disposal.

> simon evans – project director

Simon has extensive Project Management and development experience and has been influential in ensuring that complex, multi-million-pound development opportunities, are delivered on time and on budget. 
 

He is used to working with and managing multi-disciplinary design teams and principal contractors as well as coordinating the requirements of multiple stakeholders to deliver high quality projects.  

 

Simon has worked for major national home builders and infrastructure companies.

> neil charlesworth – community services lead

Neil has significant experience working within the public sector in senior positions in both health and education, and also in the private sector.  

In particular, Neil has previous experience in turnaround roles within the NHS which include; overseeing various service redesign models, patient referral systems and efficient working practices, enabling a balanced commissioning budget for the Primary Care Trusts at the end of his involvement.  

 

These roles include successfully working with multiple service commissioners and stakeholders to create affordable and deliverable estate improvement projects or service improvements for the benefit of local communities.

> marina guido – finance director

Marina works with Space Asset Services and Equity Solutions to support all business planning, investments and acquisitions.

 

Marina has extensive experience of strategic financial planning, and has worked across commercial, real estate, health and education sectors.

> camille rubin – executive assistant

Camille is the key point of contact for the Space Team, working closely with the Principals and the wider team and partners to support operational and project requirements.
